Princess Saltorine 'Sally' Aldike is bored of castle life and dreams of adventure beyond her kingdom's walls. A chance meeting with the traveler Mikoto Kibitsu, who turns out to be the demon-slaying Momotaro and wields a mysterious power called the Peach Eye, leaves her shaken by the violence she witnesses, but only strengthens her resolve to leave home and see the world herself. As she sets out, she picks up companions including the rabbit demihuman Frau and the oni warrior Carrot.
