College student Aoi Tsubaki has spent months paying off her late grandfather's debt by cooking for the ayakashi at the Tenjin'ya inn, working alongside its master, Oodanna, and the fox-spirit Ginji. This second season picks up with Aoi's place in the Hidden Realm more settled but still precarious, as new guests, new debts, and the ever-present question of her arranged marriage to Oodanna keep pulling her back into the inn's business. Her leverage is the same as ever: cooking no ayakashi can turn down.
