Aoi Tsubaki, a college student who inherited her late grandfather's ability to see ayakashi, is pulled into the Hidden Realm by Oodanna, an ogre who claims her grandfather died owing him a debt she can only repay by marrying him. She refuses and strikes a different deal instead: she will work it off at his inn, Tenjin'ya, using the one skill ayakashi have never had to deal with, her cooking.
