Rikuo Sakisaka has spent his whole life treating androids like appliances, so when he notices odd gaps in his family android Sammy's activity logs, he and his friend Masaki follow the trail to a café with an unusual house rule: inside it, humans and androids are treated exactly the same. Between visits, Rikuo starts questioning everything he assumed about the androids around him, from Sammy's growing independence to what the people dismissed as "android-holics" see in machines everyone else calls furniture. This manga adapts the original Time of Eve anime.
