Synopsis
In an alternate Japan where the Tokugawa shogunate never fell, Muneakira Yagyu enrolls at Buou Academic School at the foot of Mount Fuji, where a student council rules with near-total authority over the students training there as samurai. He's pulled into a growing standoff between that council and a resistance led by Yukimura Sanada and Matabei Goto, fighters who carry the names of famous historical samurai along with their awakened abilities. This manga adapts the same story as the Hyakka Ryouran light novels, tracking Muneakira's early entanglement in the school's power struggle.
