BANANA FISH

Ash Lynx, a seventeen-year-old gang leader in New York City, receives a street address and a vial of an unknown substance from a dying man who whispers the words 'banana fish' — the same phrase Ash's brother Griffin muttered before going catatonic after firing on his own squad in Iraq. When Japanese photographer's assistant Eiji Okumura arrives in New York on assignment, he and Ash form an unlikely bond as Ash traces 'banana fish' to a drug capable of brainwashing its targets, pursued by crime boss Dino Golzine.
