Synopsis
Alain and his Charizard travel the Kalos region hunting down trainers who have mastered Mega Evolution, and their first opponent is Astrid and her Mega Absol, a battle watched from the sidelines by a young trainer named Mairin. Alain works for the mysterious Lysandre, who runs Lysandre Labs and has reasons of his own for chasing the phenomenon. Mairin and her Chespin attach themselves to Alain as traveling companions, and the search eventually crosses paths with Hoenn Champion Steven. Four specials in all, the story bridges Pokémon the Series: XY into its sequel, XY&Z.
