Synopsis
A new school year brings a fresh headache to the Society for the Study of Modern Visual Culture when the Manga Research Club press-gangs reluctant new member Chika Ogiue onto the club's roster. Ogiue introduces herself by declaring her hatred of otaku, then spends the OVA's three episodes clashing with president Harunobu Madarame and veteran members Kanji Sasahara and Saki Kasukabe while hiding a private obsession with yaoi manga of her own. Bridging Genshiken's first and second television seasons, it exists to bring Ogiue into the main cast.
