Synopsis
Yuuri Katsuki, a twenty-three-year-old Japanese figure skater, returns to his hometown of Hasetsu after a crushing defeat at the Grand Prix Final. When a video of him perfectly replicating a routine by his idol, five-time world champion Victor Nikiforov, goes viral, Victor himself flies to Hasetsu and offers to become Yuuri's coach. With Victor pushing him back onto the ice and young Russian skater Yuri Plisetsky demanding Victor return, Yuuri prepares to compete in the Grand Prix series once more.
