Toori Aoi has spent ten years since the death of his childhood friend Horizon Ariadust preparing to propose to P-01s, an automaton built in her image, only to learn, as Student Council President of the airborne city-ship Musashi, that P-01s is truly Horizon, resurrected in a machine body. Musashi's people re-enact human history from a guidebook called the Testament after a failed exodus to the heavens, but the reenactment has stalled at 1648, and apocalyptic rumors are spreading.
