After a serious accident leaves her paralyzed, Keina Kagami spends her days logged into the VRMMORPG Leadale until her consciousness wakes up permanently inside her high elf avatar, Cayna. Two hundred years have passed in the game world since she last played, and the kingdoms, systems and people she knew have all changed beyond recognition. What has not vanished are the three NPC children she adopted back then: Skargo, Kartatz and Mai-Mai, grown into figures of standing, whose lives give Cayna somewhere to start.
