Synopsis
Kira Yamato is a Coordinator, genetically enhanced and raised among ordinary Naturals, when the war between ZAFT and the Earth Alliance reaches his neutral colony of Heliopolis. Forced to pilot the prototype Gundam Strike to protect his friends, he finds himself facing his own childhood friend Athrun Zala, now fighting for ZAFT on the opposite side. This manga adapts the original TV series' account of a war that turns former friends into enemies.
