Yoshino Somei grew up in an Osaka yakuza household and thought she understood the world she was born into. When her grandfather arranges her engagement to Kirishima Miyama, heir of the Miyama group in Tokyo, Kirishima presents himself as charming and disarming — a facade Yoshino sees through quickly. Humiliated by what lies behind it, she resolves to spend the next year winning his heart with the sole intention of destroying it.
