Found unconscious in a forest by Eruruu, an amnesiac man wakes with a mask fused permanently to his face and no memory of who he is. Eruruu and her grandmother Tuskuruu take him in and give him the name Hakuoro, and as he settles into village life alongside Eruruu's younger sister Aruruu, the mask marks him as something other than an ordinary villager. This manga adapts the original Utawarerumono visual novel.
