おそ松くん (1988)

Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Juushimatsu, and Todomatsu Matsuno are six identical sextuplets whose matching looks, voices, and clothes make them nearly impossible to tell apart, and whose gags feed off a cast of eccentric neighbors led by the vain, buck-toothed Iyami and street kid Chibita. Adapted from Fujio Akatsuka's manga, each episode is a self-contained comic sketch with little ongoing plot. This 1988 TV series is the second anime adaptation of Osomatsu-kun, made nearly three decades before the modern sequel Osomatsu-san.
