Synopsis
Virginia Robertson, a witch retired from combat duty, pitches the League of Nations Air Force on lifting frontline morale through music instead of magic. Her first proposal is turned down, so she recruits singer Inori Shibuya and gathers seven witches unfit for combat into the Luminous Witches, a touring band that performs for troops fighting the Neuroi. Set alongside the first Strike Witches campaign, the series follows the group's early shows as they work out what a non-combat witch unit is even for.
