Synopsis
In a near future where robots have gained self-awareness, the machine army of the Black King, Braiking Boss, has all but wiped out humanity and seized control of the planet. Casshan, a human turned into a nearly indestructible cyborg to fight back, wages a one-man war against the robot forces alongside his transforming robot dog Friender and Luna Kouzuki, one of the last free humans. This OVA is a 1993 reimagining of Tatsunoko's 1973 Casshern, made for the studio's 30th anniversary.
