Yukimura Chizuru travels from Edo to Kyoto searching for her missing father and ends up under the protection of Shinsengumi captains investigating a string of attacks tied to ochimizu, a strength-granting elixir that turns men into Rasetsu demons. This two-volume manga anthology retells her search as a set of short romances by several contributing artists, each following the bond Chizuru forms with a single captain, among them Hijikata, Okita, Saitou, Harada, and Heisuke.
