Synopsis
Rumors reach the Shinsengumi that a rival faction plans to burn down their Kyoto headquarters, and Yukimura Chizuru volunteers to work undercover as a geisha at a Shimabara inn to gather intelligence. Hijikata Toshizo, Okita Souji, Saitou Hajime, Harada Sanosuke, and Toudou Heisuke each grow uneasy about the risk she is taking and move to protect her. This six-episode OVA slots between episodes 8 and 9 of the first season, giving one episode to each character's point of view.
