Yuki Sanada, a socially anxious teenager who freezes up under stress, moves to the seaside town of Enoshima and is dragged into fishing by Haru, a self-proclaimed alien with a device shaped like a water gun. Haru's arrival draws the attention of D.U.C.K., an organization that monitors alien activity, represented locally by Akira and his duck Tapioca. With fellow angler Natsuki Usami, the three set out to save the world by learning to fish. This light novel is a prose retelling of the 2012 Tsuritama anime.
