Synopsis
Rookie bugler Kanata Sorami arrives at her first posting in the town of Seize, a quiet outpost where an armistice has paused a long war between Helvetia and the Roman Empire. Second Lieutenant Filicia Heideman welcomes her into the all-female 1121st Platoon alongside Rio Kazumiya, Noel Kannagi and Kureha Suminoya, and Kanata settles into a routine of drills, chores and trumpet practice while chasing the story behind the melody a soldier once played for her when she was a child.
