Synopsis
Maeda Toshiie and his wife Matsu arrive on Shikoku to deliver Oda Nobunaga's ultimatum to Chousokabe Motochika, ruler of the island and commander of the fire-cannon fortress Fugaku. Motochika refuses the demand and urges Maeda to defect, while elsewhere Maeda Keiji's attempt to recruit the rival warlord Mouri Motonari against Nobunaga lands him in prison. As Motochika and Motonari maneuver against each other, this DVD-exclusive episode bridges the gap just before the first season's finale.
