Akina Hiizumi is the only human on a team of three supernaturally gifted friends: Hime Yarizakura, believed to be the reincarnation of an ancient dragon; Ao Nanami, a telepathic satori whose cat ears work as antennas; and Kotoha Isone, who can conjure objects out of spoken words. Together they run the town of Sakurashin's human-youkai coexistence under a barrier raised by the spirit cherry trees known as the Seven Pillars, handling supernatural incidents as they crop up. Akina's own inherited ability lets him cut the link between the two worlds and send stray youkai home.
