Synopsis
Karate instructor Doppo Orochi watches one of his students get crushed by a teenage prodigy named Baki Hanma, and the loss pulls him into Baki's world of illegal, no-rules fighting. Curious rather than angry, Doppo tracks down the underground venue himself and learns that Baki is lined up to face Koushou Shinogi, a karate master notorious for his lethal cord-cutting technique. This OVA adapts the opening arc of the original manga.
