Aki Shiina's soft features get him mistaken for a girl so often that he moves out of his family home just to prove he's not one, settling into the all-female lodging house Sunohara-sou. Its caretaker, Ayaka Sunohara, treats him with a warmth that quickly turns into a crush he can't admit to, while the house's other residents needle him about it at every opportunity.
