日本沈没
日本沈没
Deep-sea submersible pilot Toshio Onodera and the maverick geophysicist Professor Tadokoro descend into the Japan Trench after an uninhabited island in the Ogasawara chain sinks overnight, the first sign of something wrong beneath the archipelago. What they find on the seafloor leads Tadokoro to a prediction nobody wants to hear: most of Japan will drop below sea level within about two years. As the quakes intensify, the government races to prepare for the end of the country. This early manga adaptation of the original Japan Sinks novel follows the same disaster-unfolds-in-real-time structure as the book.
