Shinichirou Asano takes a housekeeping job to cover his rent, not realizing his new employer is Sakuya Shimazu, provisional head of the Shimazu family and a hunter of the specters that slip into the human world. When he accidentally frees one of the creatures Sakuya has sealed away, the two are forced to team up to recapture it, and Shinichirou ends up wielding a sealed spirit sword called Yashaou. This manga is the original work behind the anime adaptation.
