Synopsis
A year after the war that ended the Macross 7 TV series, singer and Valkyrie pilot Basara Nekki leaves his band, Fire Bomber, and travels to the planet Zola. There he meets Elma, a young Zolan girl who admires Fire Bomber, and gets pulled into her family's conflict. Her father Graham poaches the endangered space whales that migrate through the system, and Basara turns to his Spiritia-powered song to stop the hunt before it wipes the whales out.
