Wandering sorceresses Lina Inverse and Naga the Serpent arrive in a small village caught between two armies: Lord Calvert's soldiers and a dragon-riding force led by his teenage daughter Marlene. What looks like an ancient curse unleashed on the town turns out to be a father-daughter fight over Marlene's allowance. Lina signs on with Calvert while Naga throws in with Marlene, and the two sorceresses end up on opposite sides of a family squabble dressed up as a full-scale war.
