Lina Inverse, a bandit-hunting sorceress with a habit of robbing the robbers, teams up with the swordsman Gourry Gabriev after he mistakes her for a girl in distress. What starts as a reluctant, convenience-driven partnership grows as the pair pick up fellow travelers Zelgadis Graywords and Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune along the way. This manga adapts the first eight Slayers light novels, with one volume drawing from the Slayers Return film instead.
