Synopsis
Oliver May tests experimental mobile weapons for the Principality of Zeon's 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit, stationed aboard the converted transport ship Jotunheim during the One Year War. Rather than following the famous aces of the original Mobile Suit Gundam, this OVA stays with Oliver's ground-level view of the same conflict: the prototypes that never made it to production, the crews testing them, and the war's toll on people whose job is evaluation, not glory. A sequel, Mokushiroku 0079, continues the perspective.
