ゲート 自衛隊 彼の地にて、斯く戦えり

A portal erupts in Tokyo's Ginza district, spilling a medieval army of soldiers, dragons, and orcs into modern Japan. After the Self-Defense Force repels the invasion, otaku officer Youji Itami leads a reconnaissance team through the Gate into a fantasy continent. He brokers fragile truces with the Empire that launched the attack while gathering an unlikely party: Rory Mercury, a nine-hundred-year-old demigod apostle; Lelei La Lalena, a teenage mage; and Tuka Luna Marceau, an elf whose village the dragon destroyed. Each of them is pulled into the geopolitical friction between Japan, the Empire, and rival world powers eyeing the Gate.
