Synopsis
This light novel is the original behind the Mayoi Neko Overrun! manga and anime. Takumi Tsuzuki works the counter at Stray Cats, the confectionery run by his adoptive older sister Otome, with help from Fumino Serizawa, a childhood friend from the orphanage where he grew up. Everything shifts when Otome brings home Nozomi Kiriya, a beautiful, unreadable girl she picked up at the train station, who turns out to be brilliant at nearly everything and is soon put to work as the shop's pastry chef.
