Before he became Kenshiro's greatest rival, Raoh was already carving out an empire. This prequel follows his rise through the wasteland left by nuclear war, as he trains in Hokuto Shinken and starts bending warlords and territories to his will. He does it not to protect the weak, as the style teaches, but on the belief that only total conquest can save a broken world. Set years before the events of the original Fist of the North Star, it traces the ambition that eventually puts Raoh on a collision course with Kenshiro himself.
