Gekitou-hen brings the Raoh Gaiden pentalogy to its climax with a retelling of Kenshiro's final battle against his brother Raoh, restaging the clash from the original manga, both men fighting with the same Hokuto Shinken techniques they were raised on, with new scenes and a handful of trimmed details. Coming after Junai-hen and Yuria-den, this is the third of five films tracing Raoh's rise and fall, and it settles the ideological split the earlier entries spent their running time building between the two brothers.
