Synopsis
Umio takes a part-time job at Umanohone, a doujinshi and manga specialty shop modeled on real Akihabara stores like Comic Toranoana, and finds his coworkers stranger than the customers. Sensei mans the register while chasing a manga career under the pen name Jonatarou, Kantoku films his coworkers' most awkward moments while nursing a crush on Hio-tan, and Hio-tan, a boys' love fan who isn't really an otaku, spends half her shifts flustered by his teasing. The manga follows their daily grind at the store rather than any ongoing plot.
