Yoichi Isagi, a high school striker who chose to pass instead of shoot in a decisive tournament match and lost, receives an invitation to Blue Lock — a radical training facility devised by eccentric coach Jinpachi Ego to forge Japan's most ruthless goal scorer. Three hundred of the country's best young strikers are locked inside, competing in elimination rounds where the losers are permanently banned from the national team. Isagi bets everything on becoming the kind of egoist striker Ego's program demands.
