Transfer student Minato Arisato enrolls at Gekkoukan High School and is drawn into S.E.E.S., a group of students investigating the Dark Hour, a hidden hour each night when supernatural creatures called Shadows appear. Minato discovers he can summon an inner force known as a Persona, and joins S.E.E.S. to fight the Shadows and uncover the truth behind the Dark Hour.
