Sana is a young test subject who escapes from a covert research facility studying people born with the power called Alice's Dream, the ability to turn anything imagined into physical reality. Nicknamed the Red Queen for how strong hers is, she flees into Shinjuku and stumbles into the quiet, orderly life of Zouroku Kashimura, an elderly man who takes her in despite the pursuers on her trail. As Sana learns what an ordinary household is, other girls with the same power surface across the city, each using it differently.
