Ash and his friends arrive in LaRousse, a futuristic city that runs entirely on technology, where they meet Tory Lund, a boy who has feared Pokémon since a stampede caught him on his father's polar expedition four years earlier. Deoxys, a Pokémon from outer space, returns to search for its missing partner and draws Rayquaza down from the ozone layer; to keep it out, Deoxys walls the city off behind a force field and pulls residents inside one by one. Tory's link to that incident puts him at the center of the crisis. This manga adapts the film of the same name.
