Synopsis
A year before the Zentradi make first contact with Earth, U.N. Spacy pilot Shin Kudo crash-lands his VF-0 Phoenix fighter on the remote Mayan Island after a dogfight with an unidentified transforming aircraft. There he meets sisters Sara and Mao Nome, guardians of a shrine tied to an ancient alien ship buried nearby, as U.N. and anti-U.N. forces converge on the island chasing its secret. This five-episode OVA is a prequel to the original Super Dimension Fortress Macross.
