Fumihiko Matsumaru, a salaryman stood up outside a movie theater, ends up sharing his ticket with Aka Onda, a rookie voice actress he's never met. When a fire destroys Aka's apartment that same night, Matsumaru offers her a place to stay, and the two settle into a "more than friends, not quite lovers" arrangement they keep hidden from their coworkers. The manga follows their slow-building relationship as secrecy becomes harder to maintain.
