Synopsis
Osaka high schooler Tazuna Takatsuki loves tinkering with machines, and a repair request from a university lab leads him to Koyori Akutagawa, a bedridden girl he's never met. The moment they touch hands, both are pulled into the Ziggurat, a hidden world where paired Hand Shakers summon weapons called Nimrods from their joined grip and fight rival pairs for an audience with a being called God, who grants the winners' wish. Letting go of Koyori's hand would kill her. This light novel is a novelization of the original Hand Shakers anime.
