Lupin III has just been hanged for his crimes, or so Inspector Zenigata thinks, until the corpse turns out to be a decoy and the real Lupin resurfaces very much alive. The trail leads to Mamo, a shriveled recluse chasing immortality through cloning and ancient relics, while Lupin tries to win back the affections of Fujiko Mine even as her mysterious new benefactor pulls the strings from the shadows.
