Synopsis
Marking the Lupin III franchise's 30th anniversary, this special reconstructs how master thief Lupin III first crossed paths with his future crew. Gunman Jigen, hired by millionaire Galvez to guard the Clam of Helmeth, a cylinder of unbreakable metal holding the secret to forging more of it, finds himself up against Lupin and rival thief Fujiko Mine, both after the same prize. Inspector Zenigata arrives from Japan chasing Fujiko, while swordsman Goemon Ishikawa hunts a blade worthy of his skill, and all five converge in New York.
