Mayumi Dojima, a middle school student at Yubiwa Academy, has spent ten years chasing the memory of a single star she glimpsed as a child and never explained. Her search leads her to the Pretty Boy Detective Club, an unofficial group of five striking boys, Sousaku Yubiwa and Manabu Soutouin among them, who take on school mysteries not for money but for their own sense of beauty and curiosity. Helping Mayumi track down her star pulls the club into a case stranger than any of their usual work.
