At the flower bed where the "Yuri Flower" blooms, Arashigaoka Academy students Kureha Tsubaki and Sumika Izumino share a bond only they understand, until the alarm announcing a bear attack forces them apart. Bears have hunted humans since the Kumaria meteor shower, kept back only by the "Wall of Severance," but this night the wall fails to hold. This light novel tells the Yuri Kuma Arashi story in prose alongside the anime.
