Haruhiro wakes in the world of Grimgar with no memory of his past, alongside a handful of strangers in the same condition. With no powerful skills among them, the group joins the Crimson Moon reserve force as volunteer soldiers and scrapes by hunting goblins on the outskirts of town. Haruhiro's party — Manato, Ranta, Moguzo, Yume, and Shihoru — must learn to fight as a team just to survive encounters that stronger parties dispatch without a thought.
