These two DVD-exclusive specials fill gaps around the main sola TV series: one is a bonus episode set between episodes four and five, and the other is a prologue covering the day before Yorito Morimiya first meets Matsuri Shihou, the sunlight-intolerant Yaka living in isolation across the street. Together they round out the daily routines of Yorito, his older sister Aono, and Matsuri without moving the story past where the TV series already leaves it.
