Synopsis
Newly appointed co-governor of the Sa Province, Shuurei Kou shares the post with Eigetsu To, a scholarly prodigy from a humble background, under orders to turn the region into a center for academic research. As Saiunkoku's first female official, Shuurei already has to fight for authority in the role, and an outbreak of disease across the province makes that fight urgent. Emperor Ryuuki Shi, Seiran Shi, and Kouyuu Li stay close as this second season follows her rise through the court.
